Nesa Capital is a black owned and managed alternative investment manager founded in 2012 and based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Nesa Capital focuses on unique investment opportunities in South and Southern Africa.

Our name is derived from the Sotho word Neša which means “to bring the rain”. As our name suggests, Nesa Capital believes in being the catalyst for cultivating long term growth and value for our clients through the various services and products we offer.

We are firmly entrenched in the South African debt capital and equity markets and through our distribution function, can access appropriate pockets of liquidity from a wide range of funders. Managing Director

In 2013 Percy co-founded and oversaw the successful launch of the Nesa Enterprise Development Fund a social impact investment fund aimed at alleviating poverty through the support of job creation by SMMEs.

Group Financial Director

Kerry previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Amecor Limited, a South African JSE listed electronics company. Kerry joined Nesa Capital in 2017 as the group financial director.

Thembeka (Thembi) Machaba has over 18 years of experience in the Human Resources and Organization Effectiveness field. Thembi holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Economics and Industrial Psychology from the University of Kwazulu-Natal.
